The Winamac Town Council approved a bid for painting the Memorial Swinging Bridge.
The council went with Southern Road and Bridge’s bid of $239,000. The project includes painting the bridge and providing new decking.
The Community Crossings Street Paving Grant was awarded to Central Paving for their bid of $176,829. The town commitment is 25% and the rest will be paid through the state’s Community Crossings Matching Grant program.
There is no timeline yet on when the projects will begin.
