The Kentucky State Police are seeking a repeat and need the help of the Bluegrass community.  Here's what you can do.

WHAT IS AMERICA'S BEST CRUISER COMPETITION?

You might be asking yourself with this cruiser competition is all about and here's what we found according to the KSP;

The American Association of State Troopers (AAST) hosts an annual calendar contest and encourages state police agencies across the nation to submit a photo entry that is unique and represents their state.

KSP won the best-looking cruiser in 2021 and they are looking for a repeat!

WHAT DOES THIS YEAR'S CRUISER LOOK LIKE?

This year's cruiser is probably one of my favorites ever.

It's a 2021 Chevy Tahoe,  equipped with 20” tires and a 5.3 liter 4WD producing 355 horsepower and a ten-speed automatic transmission. The photo was snapped on Pisgah Pike County Road 1967 in Woodford County with a picturesque backdrop featuring horse country.

KSP has been in the Top 3 for three years running.

HOW CAN I VOTE FOR THE KSP CRUISER?

The contest opened for voting on Monday, August 8.  Cast your vote through Thursday, August 25, at 5 p.m.   Once you click on the link you will scroll down alphabetically through all the cruisers and at the end, you pick your favorite (Kentucky of course) and submit it.

Once voting is closed they will tally votes and the winning photo will be featured on the cover and premiere in the January month of the AAST 2023 wall calendar.

Best of luck to our friends at KSP.  They do a fantastic job of keeping the Bluegrass safe and we appreciate their sacrifice each and every day.
