Bryan Maurice Wilson

Last month — a few days before his trial was to start — Bryan Maurice Wilson pleaded no contest to a manslaughter charge, amended from an open murder charge for the death of Antonio “Tone Muns” Munson. Munson body was found on Jan. 13, 2021 in his Dodge Durango outside D’Anton’s Coney Island on Huron Street near Telegraph Road.

Investigators tied Wilson to the crime through cell phone records showing he and Munson arranged to meet for a marijuana deal, as well as surveillance video that recorded the meeting in the restaurant’s parking lot, Munson’s blood found in Wilson’s car, and .45-caliber bullets found during a search of Wilson’s home. Munson was killed after being hit by a .45-caliber bullet.

Wilson will be sentenced by Oakland County Circuit Judge Yasmine Poles.
