RALEIGH, N.C. — Summer is not over - yet! It's time to take the children for one last sweet treat before school starts! Here are our top five places for ice cream in the Triangle!

Two Roosters (Raleigh and Durham)

With three Raleigh locations and two in Durham (one at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park), there is a reason why this ice cream shop has been a repeat WRAL Voters' Choice Award Winner for best ice cream. The flavors are fantastic - we love the one with Thin Mint girl scout cookies mixed inside!

Andia's (Cary)

This Cary shop is also a WRAL Voters' Choice Award winner for best ice cream. Their creative flavors include Baklava, rose pistachio and Oreo latte. Their French Vanilla flavor is an award-winner too! In addition to ice cream, you have to try their monster shakes and crazy cake shakes! They have two Cary locations.

Sunni Sky's Homemade Ice Cream (Angier)

This shop is the stuff of legends. It has more than 125 flavors to sample and is even home to the famous "Cold Sweat" super spicy ice cream that you have to sign a waiver before eating! The shop is also reportedly for sale.

The Parlour (Durham)

We love this Bull City ice cream shop with its unique flavors like Honey Ricotta and Summer Corn with Blueberry Swirl.

Lumpy's ice cream (Wake Forest)

We are huge fans of their Kenny's Kickin Chocolate and Sally's Silly Strawberry flavors! You can either go to their shop in downtown Wake Forest or catch them at all Carolina RailHawks Soccer Games and all events at Booth Amphitheatre in Cary. They also have locations at the Raleigh Downtown Farmers Market and Carousel Farms Rodeo.
