Come celebrate Marilyn Atkinson’s 90th Birthday with us from 2-3 p.m. at the Franklin Idaho church house on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Marilyn was born August 10, 1932 to Milton and Alveretta Jorgensen in Lewiston, Utah.

She married Max Atkinson and was excited to move to a town as big as Franklin. Max passed away after they had been married 55 years.

She is a loving example to her 7 children: Debbie & Dennis Parry; Jan & Mark Bradley; Sid Atkinson, deceased; Rick & Eva Atkinson; Jackie & Randy Maddock; Sue Ann & Mike Pearce; and Robert & Lesia Atkinson.

She is also a grandparent to 23 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren, and recently added 2 new great-great grandsons.

She is a very talented seamstress and has sewn clothing, prom dresses and wedding dresses for her children. She has sewn upholstery, draperies, and still sews costumes for a theatre group. Her quilts are cherished by her family.

Marilyn is a master of fixing things. She has repaired hairblowers, electronics, bikes, some motors and sewing machines.

Her home is always open to friends and family that need a place to stay.
