(UPDATED 4:25 AM) The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for a missing 2-year-old girl.

Investigators say two year old Amari Washington was left unattended in a vehicle in a parking lot in the 33-hundred block of Dunn Road. The vehicle was stolen around 2:43 this morning by an unknown suspect.

Amari is black, has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a pink shirt and yellow pants.

Officials are seeking a Brown or Dark Purple Hyundai Sonata with Missouri tags --C-T-9-D-6-C
Investigators say it is a 2012 model. The left tail light has a hole in it.

Officials are seeking a Brown or Dark Purple Hyundai Sonata with Missouri tags -- CT9D6C

Ambert alerts are issued in the most serious child abduction cases.
