The Chattahoochee County High School varsity football team is entering a new era with the start of the 2022 season, as they have a new head coach, Ryan McKenzie.
Coach McKenzie is in his 11th season coaching high school football. This is his first time at the helm as a head coach and he’s very excited.
“I was excited about this opportunity because I liked the environment, the support of the administration, and I love the culture they’re trying to establish,” he said. “It reminds me a lot of my home county (Macon County).”
Coach McKenzie most recently served as the offensive coordinator for three years for Class AA Bleckley County. They had a lot of highlights in the short span.
