2nd Alarm Apartment Fire Displaces Residents

San Bernardino, CA: A second alarm apartment fire left multiple residents displaced early Tuesday morning, Aug. 9. San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a call of a commercial structure fire around 1:30 a.m. at Arrowhead Avenue and 8th Street in San Bernardino.

First arriving engines reported five apartment units on the second floor were fully involved in flames. Firefighters quickly evacuated the building and attacked the fire which was knocked down in around 30 minutes.

Red Cross was called in to assist with approximately 10 displaced residents. No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation and it is unknown at this time how it started.
