HAMILTON — The Butler County Sheriff’s Office says members of the Emergency Response Services (ERS) continues to assist with the extensive damage from the flooding in Hazard, Kentucky, according to a news release Tuesday.

They were deployed last week to assist the Northern Kentucky All-Hazards Incident Management Team and working to help victims of the flooding.

Sheriff Richard K. Jones says the team is in good spirits.

“The loss and destruction is beyond comprehension,” he said. “We will help our hurting neighbors in this time of need.”

Jones says he will be sending a second E.R.S. team down to Kentucky at the end of the week to relieve this team.
