New lab coming to U-M Flint to assist nursing students (Mid-Michigan NOW){p}{/p}
FLINT, Mich. - The University of Michigan Flint is opening a new lab to students this fall.

After new renovations to the William S. White Building, a state-of-the-art sim lab will be ready for higher education at the start of the semester.

The new, 3-thousand square foot lab will offer new simulation beds, so nursing students can practice their future profession on test dummies.
It is also big enough for tables so classes can gather, which is usually done in different rooms.

"So we gave actually over 500 educational programs or initiatives each year-- and were serving over 5,500 users each year through these experiences that are executed here in this space," said Dean Cynthia McCurren.
