Man Dies, Suspect Arrested After Stabbing in Tamarac

A suspect was taken into custody after a man was stabbed to death Tuesday in Tamarac, deputies said.

It happened before 4 p.m. in the 6300 block of Landings Way, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

Deputies found a man suffering from stab wounds, BSO said. He was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening wounds.

He later died from his injuries. He was not identified due to Marsy's Law.

Another man, identified as 27-year-old Keenan Whyte, was detained at the scene and later arrested on a murder charge, deputies said.

Whyte was booked into the Broward jail where he was being held without bond Wednesday, records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
