Thunderstorms moved through Southern New England, bringing some much-needed rain to the area.
Heavy downpours and lightning strikes have reportedly caused damage to areas around Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Bristol's deputy fire chief told NBC 10 they had around eight calls come in within a five minute span as the storms rolled through the town.

The deputy chief said there were three structure fires, multiple trees and houses hit from lightning strikes on Tuesday evening.
The road around the area was closed down for a few hours on Tuesday evening while firefighters worked on the various calls.
A similar sight could be seen in Warwick, where an apparent lightning strike reportedly damaged a tree on Buttonwoods Avenue on Tuesday.
A ring camera captured a lightning strike around the same time on Buttonwoods Avenue.
Viewers also sent in videos from Harbor Lights Marina and Oakland Beach, which show heavy downpour and flooding on the street near Oakland Beach in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Other videos show cars driving through the flooded street on Post Road in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Numerous lightning strikes were also reported across Southeastern Massachusetts, including Wareham, New Bedford, Fall River, and Buzzard's Bay.
