There is an update on an Ames woman who was in a roll-over crash and last week and has been in a medically-induced coma ever since.Sierra DesPlanques was involved in a rollover crash on Friday.Her family operates a popular sweet corn stand on 13th Street and Grand Avenue in Ames. Her father tells KCCI's Marcus McIntosh that she appears to be coming out of that coma, and he saw her smile at him.The family is using proceeds from the stand in Ames to help with medical expenses.Over the weekend, they raised more than $15,000.Previous coverage:
