Purdue linebacker Jalen Graham left Tuesday’s Boilermakers practice with an injury.

According to reports from those in West Lafayette, it’s a minor hamstring injury for Graham. He was unable to continue practicing, but did return to the field and walked around. Graham’s status is day-to-day, so hopefully, he’ll be back in action soon.

Graham started all 13 games for Jeff Brohm’s squad in 2021. Last season, Graham was fifth on the team with 64 tackles, including 45 solo, 4 tackles-for-loss and 1 sack, and notched a pair of quarterback hurries. Graham also logged 2 interceptions, returning 1 for a touchdown and broke up 7 passes. He earned All-Big Ten honorable mentions from the conference coaches and media.

Graham and the Boilermakers open the 2022 campaign against Penn State on Sept. 1.
