Jasper ISD students will be back in class on Wednesday for the first day of the 2022-23 school year.
Meanwhile, Jasper Police Chief Gerald Hall is reminding drivers to slow down in school zones, stop for school busses, and to be aware of students walking to and from school.
Hall said his department will be at and around the four school campuses as well as monitoring traffic in school zones.
