Barleycorn's Brewhouse opens in former Wilder firehouse
A brewhouse has opened inside the former Wilder firehouse.
One Holland Corp., which is a franchisee of Skyline Chili, LaRosa's Pizzerias, First Watch, Dunkin' and more, opened Barleycorn's Brewhouse at 402 Licking Pike in Wilder.
The brewery official opened Aug. 16 and will ultimately have a five-barrel brewhouse with additional 30-barrel fermentation capacity, allowing for 700 barrels to be brewed annually beginning in 2023.
“As we look to the future, we wanted to honor the nearly 50-year-old Barleycorn’s legacy and the city of Wilder’s proud heritage,” said Dillon Adams, president of One Holland. “Renovating and repurposing the old fire station into a comfortable, yet stylish brewhouse with a great restaurant does just that.”
One Holland Corp. recently acquired Barleycorn's, which is a sports bar and grill with three Northern Kentucky locations.
One Holland Corp. said it is using Barleycorn's Brewhouse as a test kitchen for the Barleycorn's restaurants.
Popular food items at Barleycorn's Brewhouse could end up on the menus of the other Barleycorn's locations.
Wings have always been a staple at Barleycorn's, so you can expect Barleycorn's Brewhouse to have wings.
The Brewery will be open Tuesday - Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
The location will have indoor and outdoor patio dining. It also offers a large dog-friendly patio with a fenced relief area.
