Cheryl Small DiGiovanni, age 73, died Monday, August 8, 2022 at St Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. The Savannah native was the daughter of the late Luther and Delores Small.
She graduated from St. Vincent’s Academy in 1967 and also studied at Armstrong State University. Cheryl began her career at St Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah while she was in high school and retired as a Healthcare Administrative Manager after 40 years of dedicated service.
She took up photography as a hobby after retiring and spent countless hours working in her yard with her flowers. Cheryl’s greatest joy came when she was with her family and supporting her “favorite grandson”, Gage, as he participated in numerous sporting events to include baseball and football. She took pride in photographing memories of her family. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Donnie and Ginnie.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph “Joe” and Jamie DiGiovanni and a grandson, Gage DiGiovanni of Brooklet.
