A Koshkonong, Missouri, man has been charged for the burglary of the Midway Antique Mall in Columbia.
In a release, the Boone County Sheriff's Department said the burglary happened Sunday at 4:50 am.
Surveillance video showed a man breaking in and stealing thousands of dollars of merchandise.
A photo of the suspect from the surveillance video was shared on social media.
At 9:13 pm Sunday, someone alerted deputies that they had seen the man in the photo at the Midway Travel Plaza.
The person also was able to describe what the man was wearing and what kind of car he was in.
A sergeant responded to the area in time to see the vehicle leaving the Midway Little General on Highway 40.
When he got the vehicle pulled over, the sergeant identified the driver as Thomas Kazimir.
The sergeant said Kazimir was wearing clothing that had been seen in the surveillance photo and that there were stolen items and drugs in his car.
The Boone County Prosecutor charged Kazimir with Burglary 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of Controlled Substance.
Kazimir was denied bond and was being held at the Boone County Jail.
