Estherville, IA (KICD)– The Estherville Police Department is asking residents to be aware and to lock up possessions after multiple vehicles were reportedly broken into Monday night.

Two formal reports have been received but officers have reportedly been informed of others having taken place as well. Those with cameras in the area of 600-800 blocks of 18th Avenue North and the Deer Creek Apartments are also asked to look for any suspicious activity.

Authorities urge residents to be vigilant and to call police if they see anything out of the ordinary.
