The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is reporting a fatal auto crash that killed a cast member while filming a TV show in Las Vegas.
The incident happened around midnight on Sunday, August 7, at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard North & Harry Allen Power Plant, near Apex.
According to police, the crash occurred during the filming of the television show 'Street Outlaws,' which airs on The Discovery Channel.
The show posted about the incident Monday, stating that the person killed was named Ryan Fellows.
A TMZ report states that Fellows had been driving a gold Nissan 240z when he lost control of the vehicle near the race's finish line, rolled over, and caught on fire.
Onlookers tried to pull Fellows out of the burning car but were unsuccessful, the TMZ source says.
Las Vegas police have not confirmed any reports regarding the crash and those involved.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will be further investigating the incident.
