Claudie Monroe Blunk, 72, of Quapaw, Okla., died Friday, August 5, 2022 at his home. Born August 22, 1950 in Picher, Okla., Claudie was the son of Lewis and Geneva (Gilbert) Blunk. They preceded him in death. Claudie was also preceded in death by his brother Eddie Blunk and sister Viola Crouch. He had lived in the Picher and Quapaw, Okla. area most of his life. He attended Picher- Cardin High School. He had worked for Newell Coach in Miami, Okla. for 28 years. Claudie served in the United States Army during Vietnam.

Claudie is survived by his wife, Jeannie (Judd) Blunk of the home, a son, Shane Blunk (wife Anna) of Miami, Okla.; brothers, Freddy Blunk of Baxter Springs, Bill Blunk of Columbus and Bobby Blunk of Miami, Okla.; sisters, Nancy McKibben and Teresa Judd Both of Miami, Okla., Vickie Hayworth of Greeley, Colo. and Betty Magsby of Bakersfield, Calif. Five grandchildren, Kaleb Daugherty, Steven Blunk, Lokii Landers, Clailey Blunk and Josh Graham also survive.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m.Tuesday, August 9, at Greenlawn Cemetery, southwest of Columbus. Reverend Rowdy Rhoades will officiate. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Kaleb Daugherty, Steven Blunk, Bobby Stanley, Jeff Judd, Brent Judd, Lewis Blunk, Dravyn Blunk, Jimmy McMinn, Cody Stanley, Jeff Judd and Chuck McKibben.
