Logan Health- Conrad, will be hosting a Health Fair next Tuesday, the 11th. Hours will be from 7, in the morning until noon, at the Conrad Church of Latter Day Saints, 416 South Kansas Street. Along with lab & PSA screenings, they'll have your fall flu shots available. Logan Health & Community Partner Booths will be up & running all morning. Don't worry about a thing, they'll have some cool door prizes too. Here's to your "GOOD health!"
Shelby High School Homecoming Week's rolling right along today with "Wacky Wednesday," over at the school. Wacky? How Wacky? The 3rd & 4th period seniors & freshman are showing their artistic endeavors by painting the big "S." The students will also finish decorating the doors with, of course, "advisor approval." Just don't paint the letter "S" on the danged doors kids...Happy Homecoming on Wacky Wednesday!
Story Hour starts at 9:30, tomorrow (Wednesday) morning down at the Valier Library. Here's how it works...simply wear your pajamas, bring along your favorite pillow & get ready to "cozy in" for some real fun stories during Story Hour at the library.
The Conrad Booster Club's having a meeting this Monday night, the 3rd, down at Conrad High School, & ALL parents are invited & encouraged to attend, BTW...Tomorrow (Friday) night's Conrad Cowboy game has the Cowboys hosting Malta. Our good friends down at Shelby's Smile Shop, I call them the 2 Lena's...they're having Red Shirt Fridays every Friday. I did see a lot of "red" yesterday while at the Smile Shop yesterday, & no wonder, with Red Shirt Friday & all. R.E.D. stands for "Remember Everyone Deployed," & if you wear red into the Smile Shop on Fridays, they'll give you 10% off on your purchase, all your purchases, sewing, ironing & that other stuff they do with cloth, beads, needle & thread & even irons. Smile & say, "cheese because it's picture day" today (Tuesday) for Shelby students. This Friday night, the Coyotes will play down in Belt, & we'll broadcast the game on K96 FM with a 7 o'clock kickoff time. Tomorrow (Wednesday) evening, the Shelby boosters will have their meeting at 7, out at Clarks Restaurant. GO COYOTES!!
Medicare 101 Class is scheduled for12:30, today (Thursday) down at the Conrad Senior Center. "Class" begins right after lunch is so you can stick around enjoy a tasty & healthy lunch at the center. Don't worry about a thing, the Medicare class should run between 20, & 30 minutes. Welcome to the 1st day of Fall 22!.

The month of September, is Suicide Awareness Month, & Shelby's Youth Dynamics will be hosting a very special event tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 7:30, at their downtown office. The event encourages all of us in the Golden Triangle who have been affected by suicide to attend. There'll be a candle ceremony, a marker board to write down names, heart cookies with names...
The harvest festival's THIS weekend over in Chester, & their homecoming parade will be Friday afternoon at 1. You'll want to hang out after the parade too... the booster club's putting on a dinner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in the basement, or should I say, "lower level?" After the dinner, the celebration moves on down to the Grand Bar for Karaoke, & more homecoming fun harvest festival style. Welcome back, welcome home. This Friday night, the prime rib's going to be mighty fine from 6, to 9, down at the Shelby Elks. It's their Harvest Moon Prime Rib Dinner, & the funds raised with the $35, per plate dinner will go toward the cooler compressor. For tickets, please call Sherry at 460 2821. "ME?" Our Shelby Lions Club will be hosting a Diabetes Awareness Walk this Saturday, the 17th. Saturday's walk will step off on the Shelby Roadrunner Trail at 10. Don't worry about a thing, they'll shuttle service back to your vehicle at trail's end. ALL donations from the walk will go to a scholarship for a child to attend Montana's ONLY Type One Diabetes Camp.
