GH Spoilers 8/9/22: Are Nina and Sonny Splitting Up?

Relationships are in flux in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Cody tries again with Britt, Dante and Sam discuss the future, Ava gives Nikolas what he deserves, Felicia and Anna work together as Valentin tries to play Victor, Drew makes a stand, and Nina and Sonny discuss their relationship.

Britt still isn’t sure what to make of Cody, but he’s trying to put his best foot forward now that he’s already made a terrible first impression. “Strong women don’t bother me,” he assures her. But can Britt really trust this guy? What is he really after?

Sam was shaken when Dante suggested that they take the next step and move in together, but promised to think about it. “I want to make one thing perfectly clear,” he tells her. Can he convince her to take the plunge?

After finding out that Nikolas cheated on her with Esme, Ava has wanted nothing at all to do with her husband. And when he approaches her on the rooftop of the Metro Court, she knows just how to get rid of him! “I am giving you exactly what you want,” she declares flippantly, reaching for her purse. Of course, what Nikolas really wants is forgiveness, but we think Ava is clean out of that at the moment!

GH Britt Cody — Should Britt be worried about Cody’s interest in her?ABC

Anna and Felicia have been working together and made a great team. But when Felicia suggests striking out on her own, Anna balks. “Do you want me to find out what Valentin is up to?” Felicia asks her pal. Will Anna try to steer her off that particular trail? Because Valentin is still trying to work his magic on Victor… even if it doesn’t seem to be working! “Forgive me if I’m not convinced,” Victor says to him.

Both Drew and Carly have been at loose ends lately but while she may still be unsure as to how to put her life back together, it seems like he’s finally taking charge. “No more Mr. Nice Guy,” he declares to her.

Sitting down with Sonny at Charlie’s Pub, Nina realizes that they need to have a serious talk about their relationship if it has any chance of surviving. “Our relationship has changed,” she notes. But is that a change for the better… or the worse? Can they possibly make this work with all odds against them?
