Landon was born on May 2, 2003 in Tallahassee, FL. He was a student at Marianna High School class of 2022. Landon enjoyed soccer and played all 4 years at MHS under the guidance of Coach Michael Gable. Landon enjoyed fishing and was extremely gifted at the game of Soccer. He was selected for MVP and Captain his senior year of high school. Landon was one of two chosen to represent our region, selected by the FACA state soccer committee, to play for the 2022 FACA ALL-STAR team hosted in Mulberry, FL.
Landon was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents Clemente and Gladys Garcia and Essie Simmons; his maternal great grandparents Fannie and Thomas J. Hutchison.
He is survived by his Father, Marc Garcia; Mother, Necia Brock and husband Mason; siblings, Melissa Garcia, Lauren and Brady Brock; paternal grandparents, Jorge and June Garcia; maternal grandparents, Ricky and Cheryl Robinson; great grandmother, Shirley Richardson; great grandfather, Lamar Baxter; step grandparents, Bruce and Ann Ward and Roger Brock. He is loved and will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and especially his classmates from MHS Class of 2022, as well as a host of many other friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Rivertown Community Church with Reverends Jonathan Thomas and Paul Smith officiating. The family ask all attending the service to wear a pink article of clothing in honor of Landon. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at RCC.
