Student-Athletes Earn 22 OVC Medals of Honor for 2021-22

Morehead State student-athletes garnered 22 Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medals of Honor for the 2021-22 school year.

Of the awards, three earned medals in multiple sports (track and field/cross country and indoor and beach volleyball).

OVC Medals of Honor are bestowed upon student-athletes at each institution who earn the highest (4.0) grade-point averages for the year in their respective sports.

This year, the softball team had the privilege of having the most medals of honor with six, while women's golf had four.

Baseball: John Bakke

Volleyball: Raegan Alexander

Beach Volleyball: Raegan Alexander and Trinity Miller

Men's Cross Country/Track and Field: Jacob Vogelpohl

Women's Cross Country/Track and Field: Lucy Singleton

Women's Golf: Bridget Connolly, Alina-Sophie Koch, MacKenzie Neal and Isabella Washka

Rifle: Erin Diehl

Soccer: Michelle Jerantowski and Colleen Swift

Softball: Peyton Jordan, Kirya Kingery, Ilencia Lightbody, Madi Ogden, Peyton Rose and Peyton Slater
