Alabama is giving back to residents in Kentucky. The band donated $25,000 to the flood relief efforts underway in the state. They played a gig in Sharpsburg on Saturday, and presented a check to the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky, a non-profit that provides assistance to families and businesses. Teddy Gentry said “Hopefully these funds can help the families, farmers and businesses that were affected.” Alabama is currently on their Live in Concert Tour, after recently celebrating their 50th anniversary.
