Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a man they say broke into an animal rescue building. Deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office said the man seen in these pictures broke into Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue on U.S. 221 N. Highway in Rutherfordton.They said it happened about 1:45 a.m. on July 31.Deputies said it appears that the subject was riding a moped.
