CREAL SPRINGS, Ill. (WJPF) – No injuries were reported after a fire Monday at the Creal Springs municipal building, which houses the town’s police department, city hall, and offices. The building is also used for storage space.

Multiple fire departments were called to the pole-barn style building at about 5:45 p.m. At this time, it’s believed the fire started in the attic.

None of the equipment kept in the building was destroyed. The offices do have some smoke and water damage. The State Fire Marshal’s Office will be investigating.
