Obituary: Betty Ann Diggs Brown

Betty Ann Diggs Brown, 86, of Tuckerman, departed this life on Sunday, August 7, 2022.  She was born September 18, 1935, to William “Jack” and Lona Meyers Diggs.

Betty enjoyed sitting in her swing watching the hummingbirds eat, doing Word Search and Crossword puzzles and trips to Wal-Mart.  She loved Elvis, hanging out with her family and attending the Supper Club for the deaf.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis Brown; her brother, Charles Diggs; her sister, Verda Eaker and her niece, Brenda Roberts.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Brown of Tuckerman; her daughters, Patty Baker (Ricky) of Tuckerman, Mildred Hall (Barton) of Knoxville, Georgia, and Jackie Hubbard (Ronnie) of Newport; her sisters, JoNell Cole (Dub) of Paragould, her grandchildren, Jeremy Baker (Courtney) of Newport, Tyler Baker of Newport, Kelsey Black (Ben) of Newport, Haley Colombaro of Toledo, Ohio, Brittney King (Jack) of Newport, Cameron Hubbard of Newport and Emily Hall (Joey Bozeman) of Fort Valley, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Colombaro, Kyleigh Baker, Sara Jones, Keleigh Cook, Jensen Baker, Max Black, Foster Baker, Tyson Baker, Piper King, Mia Black, Maggie Black and Bella Bozeman; nieces and nephews, Rodney Eaker, Michele Nelson, Cathy Jo Mullins, Donald Wayne Cole, Keith Diggs, Jason Baker, Deena Bostian and Sissy Thorne and several great nieces and a great-great nephew.

Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Coffeyville Cemetery with Brother Ben Black officiating.
