Kraus Wins Red Jacket at Red Putter Pro Tourney

Matthew Kraus is the proud winner of the 2022 Red Putter Pro Tournament. Kraus took home the red jacket Saturday, Aug. 6 when he topped 71 players in the grueling heat of Ephraim.

Kraus tallied a 3-round score of 106, earning the $2,000 prize. He also won in 2019 and took second in 2021. Zach Kraus finished one shot behind him, and Nick Kwaterski of Sturgeon Bay took 3rd with a score of 108. Nicholas Kraus notched the best individual round with a 32.

All players received a Red Putter golf ball to celebrate 20 years of tournaments.  
To enter the tournament and join the Red Putter Pro Board, players had to qualify by scoring under par on the course. Players can now qualify for next year’s tournament, which will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5 2023.
