UPDATE: October 13th: The Jefferson County District Attorney's Office says the charges against Jones in Oklahoma have been dismissed, allowing an extradition process to proceed. Jones is approximately 6 feet tall and 185 pounds.Fitzgerald released two photos of Jones on Tuesday. An older picture of Jones with dreadlocks, which he no longer has, and a more recent picture of him with a shaved head.Jones was initially thought to be traveling in a dark brown 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 CREW truck with Alabama license plate ISA2106, but Birmingham police reported Tuesday night the truck was recently recovered in a separate incident. A new vehicle description was not given.He is considered to be armed and dangerous. If you see him, call 911 immediately or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.MISSING MAN'S CAR FOUNDBirmingham police said a vehicle belonging to a missing 42-year-old man, Nathan Gemeinhart, was found about a block away from the home where the burned body was found. Detectives have not said whether there is a link between the homicide investigation and Gemeinhart's disappearance. A $100,000 reward is being offered in the search for Geimehart. Red Mountain Church in Birmingham has set up a GoFundMe account for the man's family."As we prepare to celebrate Nathan’s life, we also want to serve the Gemeinhart family and provide for them," the church said in the GoFundMe fundraising description.
