ALLEN PARK -- Kenny Wiggins, who played on the offensive line for the Detroit Lions across three seasons, announced his retirement Monday evening via social media.
Wiggins appeared in 34 games while earning 13 starts between 2018 and 2020 in Detroit. He’s perhaps best remembered for being in the infamous guard rotation with ex-Lions players Graham Glasgow and Joe Dahl in 2019.
Wiggins previously spent four seasons with the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers. He went undrafted out of Fresno State in 2011, then spent time with the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers. Wiggins was last spotted on the practice squad for the New York Giants but was released around this time last year.

Wiggins announced his retirement in a letter with “Dear Football,” addressed at the top.
“You gave me the opportunity to play for the San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, San Diego/LA Chargers, Detroit Lions and New York Giants,” he wrote. “I want (to) thank them for taking a chance on me and giving me an opportunity to fulfill my dreams.”
