While there is always a special scoop of “yay” waiting to be enjoyed, the Baskin-Robbins beverage menu is getting a sweet new addition. Combined with the new August Flavor of the Month, the popular frozen treat restaurant is ending summer on a tasty note. Ready to seize the yay today?

Restaurants appreciate that menus need to continue to evolve. While guests will always want their favorite treats, adding other flavors to the mix entices people to make a special visit. Whether it is a seasonal offering or expanding the menu to be more inclusive, staying current is vital for a brand to remain relevant.

In a recent announcement, the Baskin-Robbins beverage menu added a new option for the first time. The new cold brew, specifically, “OREO ‘n Cold Brew Blast” is a sweet sip that both coffee fans and sandwich cookie lovers will want to try.

While many people love the Baskin-Robbins Cappuccino Blast, the new beverage is more coffee flavor forward. The new beverage is described as “Cold Brew coffee is blended together with OREO ‘n Cold Brew ice cream to create an irresistible flavor combination, topped with whipped cream and real OREO Cookie pieces.” Although this coffee beverage might not necessarily be that morning beverage, it is a sweet sip to brighten the day.

How does August Flavor of the Month pair with the Baskin-Robbins beverage menu?

Although coffee lovers will want to try the new OREO ‘n Cold Brew Blast, the August Flavor of the Month will have everyone talking. The flavor, Frosted Strawberry Toaster Treat, transforms that favorite breakfast item into a scoopable dessert.

As Jeanne Bolger, Director of Research & Development for Baskin-Robbins said, “with our new Flavor of the Month, Frosted Strawberry Toaster Treat, our culinary team continues to showcase out-of-the-box ice cream creations that tap into nostalgia to create our guests’ next favorite flavor.” That first scoop could bring back all those childhood memories.

Baskin-Robbins describes the treat as “toaster pastry flavored ice cream swirled with generous ribbons of strawberry jam, dressed up with rainbow icing flecks and finished off with ample amounts of crumbly toaster pastry pieces mixed throughout.” For anyone who has made toaster pastry ice cream sandwiches or frozen those breakfast items, this ice cream flavor is a must try.

Also, it is interesting that Baskin-Robbins uses strawberry jam as the fruit flavor. In some ways, there is almost a school food feel to this treat. Maybe a little drizzle of peanut butter could bring some PB&J vibes, too.

Both Baskin-Robbins menu items are available now. Check with local stores for availability.
