Schools welcome new administrators
The new school year also means some new faces at schools around the region. A list of new administrators follows.

Aberdeen Christian will be welcoming Robert Belue as its new superintendent. Belue recently moved to the area from Mississippi. Aberdeen Christian’s previous superintendent, Eric Kline, announced that he would be resigning to start a leadership business in Sioux Falls.
- Northwestern Area School District Superintendent Ryan Bruns also announced last year that he would be departing at the end of the school year. Rob Lewis, who has been the elementary school principal at Redfield, will be Northwestern’s new superintendent.
- Angela Faulk will replace Lewis as the new principal at Redfield Elementary School. Faulk was previously a teacher in the district.
- Scott Lepke will be the new superintendent for the Waubay School District. Previous superintendent Alan Neville announced that he would take a position as dean of pre-professional studies at Presentation College.

- Grant Vander Vorst will replace Lepke as superintendent for the Faulkton Area School District.
- Skyler Frederick will be stepping in as Bowdle's new superintendent following the departure of Hector Serna.
- Chip Sundberg will be the new superintendent of Ellendale Public Schools in North Dakota. He was previously superintendent of the Gettysburg Area School District.
- Amber Mikkelsen will replace Sundberg as the superintendent of the Gettysburg Area School District.
- Anna Sell will be the interim superintendent at Oakes Public School in North Dakota following the departure of David Goetz. Sell has been on the administrative team at Oakes for the past nine years and was previously a teacher.
