Caldwell’s Girls Roll 10-0, Now 17-0 All-Time Against Webster (w/PHOTOS)

Caldwell County’s girls opened the 2022 soccer season Monday with a 10-0 victory at Webster County. The Lady Tigers are now 17-0 all-time against the Lady Trojans.

Keegan Miller and Aliya Towns each had hat tricks for the Lady Tigers, who built an 8-0 lead by halftime then ended the game on the 10-goal mercy rule in the 48th minute.

Mariah Merritt had Caldwell’s first goal in the 6th minute of the game. Merritt scored on a header in front off a Miller corner kick.

Miller’s first tally came unassisted in the 15th minute.

Towns scored her first goal in the 22nd minute, getting help from Merritt to make it 3-0.

Miller scored off an assist from Laken White in the 25th minute.

An own goal by Webster in the 28th minute gave Caldwell a 5-0 advantage.

Michaelyn Sample scored an unassisted goal in the 30th minute.

Miller picked up her third goal of the contest in the 31st minute to make it 7-0.

Another own goal in the 34th minute staked the Lady Tigers to their 8-0 lead at the break.

Towns pounded a shot off the keeper in the 43rd minute.

Towns scored again in the 48th minute to end the game, this time with help from Abby Gill.

Webster did not have many opportunities at the offensive end.

Neither Caldwell goalkeeper, Abby Gill or Rachel McClung, was credited with a save in the shutout.

Caldwell’s girls are scheduled to play again this Thursday when they host Trigg County at Butler Stadium.
