As a search continues for a missing 42-year-old Birmingham man last seen Monday morning, support is pouring in for his family. Get the latest updates in the video above.The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says Nathan Gemeinhart was last seen around 7:45 a.m. Monday wearing a blue short-sleeve polo shirt with a red shirt underneath and gray pants. He is approximately 6 feet tall and 185 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. According to a Facebook post by Birmingham radio station V949, Gemeinhart drives a white 2007 Toyota Corolla with 4 Rivers BBQ bumper sticker. He could have been in the area of Aaron Aranov Drive in Fairfield. Birmingham police confirmed to WVTM 13 that Gemeinhart's vehicle was found Tuesday about a block away from a home where a burned body was discovered. Detectives have not said whether there is a link between the homicide and Gemeinhart's disappearance. Red Mountain Church in Birmingham has set up a GoFundMe account for the Gemeinhart's family. "As we prepare to celebrate Nathan’s life, we also want to serve the Gemeinhart family and provide for them," the church said in the GoFundMe fundraising description. "These funds will be to provide for the family's immediate needs, and information will be forthcoming on additional opportunities to provide long term financial support to the Gemeinharts."Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call the JCSO at 205-325-1450 immediately.
