A man is recovering at home after being hit by an out of control vehicle in West Valley City.
The video of the crash was shared with 2News by the victim's girlfriend.
According to an arrest report, Gabriel Yates, 29, was driving drunk and speeding when he lost control.
Yates car crashed into a retaining wall where a group of people were sitting.
One person was trapped underneath the vehicle and witnesses said a group of bystanders lifted the car off the man.
"My boyfriend here on the ground, he was just like saying 'my whole body hurts a lot, I can't move'," she said.

The victim of the crash was taken to the hospital but is now recovering at home.
Yates was booked into jail on charges including driving under the influence.
A police report said he told officers he had up to six beers and smoked marijuana before getting behind the wheel.
