Police investigating after body pulled from Ohio River near Taylor-Southgate Bridge

The Newport Police Department is conducting a death investigation after a body was pulled from the Ohio River near Taylor-Southgate Bridge Monday, according to Campbell County Dispatch.

Numerous Campbell and Boone County first responders were on the scene, according to Enquirer Media partner Fox19.

Police had the small section on the side of BB Riverboats blocked off but allowed customers to continue to go inside, Fox19 reports.

So far, police have yet to release the victim's identity.

The Enquirer has reached out to Newport police for additional information.
