This week is the return of the Northwestern Michigan Fair.
The fair began Sunday at the Grand Traverse County fairgrounds in Blair Township. It’s designed to be a family-friendly event with all kinds of entertainment at the fairgrounds.
Even the rain on Monday didn’t stop people from coming out.
“There’s something for everybody here. There really is,” Carolyne Woodhams, Northwestern Michigan Fair Co-Director, said. “There’s people that just come for the food, people come to see the animal shows. It’s a great place just to come out and walk around and see activities and be a part of the community.”
