Obituary: Trellis LaVeeda “Jimmie” Coffey Hill

Trellis LaVeeda “Jimmie” Coffey Hill, 101, of Tuckerman departed this life on Thursday, August 4, 2022.  She was born in Trumann, Arkansas on July 23, 1921, to Jesse Dewey Coffey and Lula Mae Farmer.

Jimmie was a member of the Tuckerman First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening, she especially loved her roses.  Her favorite thing in life was taking care of her babies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Hill; her sister, Betty Coffey Rash; her brother, Dewey Ray Coffey and her grandson, Steven Blaine DeLoach.

She is survived by her sons, David Winston (Mary) of Tuckerman and David Hill (Vickie) of Hot Springs; her daughters, Pauletta DeLoach (Victor) of Calico Rock and Laura Gardner (James) of Tuckerman; grandchildren, Webb Winston, Marilyn Winston, Melinda Langley, Brian DeLoach, Megan Cherry and Taylor Runyan; great-grandchildren, Madison Fowler, Brandy Corter, Madison Smith, Harrison Smith, Paxton Langley, Elin Winston, Cora Winston, Mary Winston, Westin DeLoach, Harlee DeLoach, Maren Cherry, Beau Cherry, Mayla Cherry, Saige Runyan, Maxton Runyan, and Ryles Runyan (coming soon); great-great-grandchildren; Riley Thompson, Maddux Fowler and Nate Corter; a host of special nieces and nephews; special friends, Nick Adcox and Lynn Thomas; special friends and caregivers, Linda Templeton and Fran Balentine.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Webb Winston, Harrison Smith, James Gardner, John Gardner, Victor DeLoach, and Steven Cherry.  Honorary pallbearers are Brian DeLoach, Westin DeLoach, Harrison Runyan, Nick Adcox and David Hill.

The service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tony Cherry officiating.  Visitation is from 1:00 until service time.  Interment will be at Gracelawn Cemetery.
