The Danville Fire Department is investigating four house fires that happened from August 6 through August 8.
The first fire happened at 1:13 a.m. on August 6 at 1022 Franklin Street.
When the Danville Fire Department arrived they found the house heavily on fire. The fire then extended next door at 1020 Franklin Street. Both of the houses were vacant.
Another fire happened later that night at 10:12 a.m. at 322 Harmon Street. That house was also vacant.
On August 7, Danville Fire Department was dispatched at noon to 926 Redden Court for an air conditioner on fire. We're told there was no significant damage to the house, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
Another vacant house fire took place at 1:14 a.m. on August 8 at 501 West Madison.
There were no injuries reported in any of the fires.
The cause of all the fires, except the fire at 926 Redden Court, is undetermined as investigations are still ongoing.
