MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. — Two people were arrested last week in a drug bust on Highway 5.

On Wednesday, August 3, deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office pulled over two individuals on Highway 5. The driver of the vehicle was identified as David Hilgar, age 36 of Versailles, and the passenger was identified as Andrea White, age 29 of Stover. At the time of the traffic stop Hilgar was on felony probation through the state of Missouri for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance. White had an active warrant for her arrest for a traffic offense. According to deputies, the stop was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

When deputies searched the car they allegedly found 13 ounces of Methamphetamine (370 grams) and suspected LSD tabs. Digital scales and packaging material were also seized. According to pictures released by Morgan County, the methamphetamine appeared to be separately packaged in Ziploc bags. After the drugs were found, Hilgar and White were arrested at the scene and transported to the Morgan County Jail.

Hilgar and White were charged by the Morgan County Prosecuting Attorney with Delivery of a Controlled Substance and 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Their bond was set at $250,000 and, as of Monday, Aug. 8, they remain in the Morgan County Jail.
