MONTICELLO, Ind. — White County deputies have arrested Randall R. Chamberlain of Monticello while they investigate Sunday's killing of Cayla L. Moore, according to the White County Sheriff's Office.

White County deputies were called to the 4400 block of Northwest Shafer Drive about 7:25 p.m. Sunday on a report that Moore had been shot, according to the sheriff's office.

White County deputies and Monticello police responded to the call.

Paramedics rushed Moore to IU White Memorial County Hospital, where she died from her wound, according to the sheriff's office.

An autopsy on Monday indicated Moore died from a single gunshot wound to the upper left chest and the manner of death was homicide, White County Corner Tony Deivel said.

A check of online court filings Monday afternoon indicated that Chamberlain had not yet been charged in connection with Moore's killing.

White County Sheriff Bill Brooks said he did not believe there were any other suspects at large.
