A 14-year old was shot in the leg on Sunday afternoon in the Overlook Colony community.
New Castle County Police responded to West Brandywine Avenue and found the victim, who was taken to the hospital, and listed in stable condition.
Detectives continue to work the case and have not released any suspect information.
