Kourtney Kardashian is dipping a toe — or finger, rather — in sister Kim’s summertime trend of choice.
At the end of July, the Skims founder launched swim gloves ($48) as part of her brand’s latest swimwear drop, after several months of incorporating the unusual accessories into her beach and pool ensembles.
Despite now being sold out in most colors and sizes, the gloves split those on social media, inspiring jokes about the “gnarliest tan lines” and quips including, “Y’all just be buying whatever [the Kardashians] make.”
But Kourtney sure seems to be on board: On Sunday, the new Mrs. Barker sported a black pair of the Skims gloves along with her zip-up one-piece ($88) while on vacation with her family.
“I💙lake life,” the Poosh founder raved on Instagram.
Bestie Steph Shepherd responded, “lake life looks good on you,” and sister and new mom Khloé Kardashian called her “the cutest.”
Not everyone understood Kourtney’s covered-up swim style, though. “Why do you have gloves on?” one person inquired, prompting replies including, “To prevent sun damage” and “Why don’t you have gloves on?”
According to the Skims website, the “trendsetting” elbow-length gloves will “instantly elevate your swim look” and “make a sexy splash everywhere you go.”
