The Pennsylvania All-Stars topped the New York All-Stars 27-13 in the Big 30 All-Stars Charities Classic Saturday night on WESB Sports.
Noah Lent, of Smethport, accounted for three total touchdowns, two through the air and one on the ground as the Keystone state took the lead in the all-time series for the first time, 23-22-3. Pennsylvania also has a six-game unbeaten streak (including the 2019 game that ended in a 27-all tie).
Lent scored his rushing TD on a 1-yard QB sneak. His first passing touchdown was a 1-yard toss to fellow Hubber Alex Ognen, and his second was a short pass to Ridgway’s Cam Marciniak, who took the ball 49 yards to the endzone. Christian Coudriet, of St. Mary’s sealed the win with a 1-yard TD pass to fellow Dutchman Eric Salberg.
New York scored first when Olean’s Jamison Pittman found the endzone on a 5-yard run, and again with Josh Bush took a fumble recovery 30-yards for a touchdown.
All three PA defensive units were dominant in limiting New York to just 138 yards of total offense. Bradford’s Elijah Fitton and Port Allegany’s Chase Weimer led the secondary with an interception each. Pennsylvania finished with 221 yards of offense. NY also had nearly double the penalty yards.
