The trustee for the Gilbert and Barbara Renze Charitable Foundation and the Warren H. Timmerman Charitable Foundation, Iowa Savings Bank, has announced their 2022 grant awardees. The Renze Foundation will distribute over $72,000 to seven projects within Carroll and Sac Counties, including gear for firefighters in Dedham, training expenses for the Lil’ Wildcat Education Center in Glidden, veteran memorial preservation in Odebolt, and more. To date, the Renze Foundation has provided more than $850,000 in funding. The Timmerman Foundation is awarding over $170,000 to 19 Carroll County projects this year. Selected applications include the Breda Day Care Center for a new fire alarm system, Coon Rapids Main Street for a grain bin mural, Manning Community Services for a senior center remodel, and others. Following this year’s contribution, the Timmerman trust has distributed more than $2,275,000 since its inception. A complete list of the selected projects can be found included below.
