Man found shot, killed in car in south Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man dead late Sunday evening.

Police responded to the area of 9900 block of Walnut Drive after a reported shooting just after 10 p.m. Officers found a vehicle in a parking lot with a man inside who had been shot.

Emergency services responded and pronounced the victim dead.

The victim was later identified as 34-year-old Dejuan Henderson. 

There is no suspect information and the investigation is still ongoing.
