meteorologist calling Hurley here and it's *** bit of *** split state today. Cool in the north in the sixties and seventies but eighties and even some low nineties further south this afternoon, *** stationary front kind of bisecting the area that keeps the chance for showers going off and on all day in the mountains. But then we'll be watching for some pop up thunderstorms further south later this afternoon and evening kind of throughout the area. Some pockets of heavy rain will be possible and we'll continue with scattered showers overnight to night. They'll be very off and on. But again, pockets of heavy rain. We can see some ponding on the roadways and your poor drainage areas as well. Watching for the threat of flooding. Here we are tomorrow morning still going with the showers and thunderstorms this front very slowly moving through our area. So it'll keep that chance in throughout the day tomorrow and possibly into tomorrow night as well. Once we get into Wednesday, we'll see some improvement. We're looking at 86 in Portland this afternoon 84 tomorrow and then seventies Wednesday Wednesday. Just *** small chance for *** few stragglers in the way of showers, but we should be drying out for *** really nice end of the week. We're talking upper seventies and low eighties into the weekend. Here's your threat for excessive rainfall or flooding for today. You can see we've got *** slight risk in the northern part of new Hampshire and maine marginal risk elsewhere again, we could see ponding on the roadways, poor drainage areas getting filled up with water but we'll be watching for some minor flaw adding as well with these really good rain producers tomorrow. That threat is still here. It's just slightly lower and less so in the mountains. So thunderstorms for today will be popping up and thunder roars head indoors 86 in Portland's still very humid. We'll have *** warm and muggy night with showers and storms off and on through the night tonight and continuing through the day tomorrow. Then we'll see gradual improvement Wednesday for *** really nice end of the week and upcoming weekend.
