FLINT – The Flint Metro League is the largest conference in the Flint area with 12 members.

For football, the Metro is divided into two divisions, the Stars and Stripes.

The Stars is comprised of the smaller schools in the league – Clio, Corunna, Goodrich, Lake Fenton, Ortonville Brandon and Owosso. The Stripes is comprised of the larger schools – Fenton, Flushing, Holly, Kearsley, Linden and Swartz Creek.

The winner of each division will play for the Metro League title on Oct. 15, when the all-league teams will also be honored.

Lake Fenton beat Fenton in last year’s championship game to become the first Stars Division team to win the title.

With all that said, we want you to tell us who will emerge as the Metro League champion Oct. 15. We’ve added last year’s records to give you an idea of who did what.

The poll will remain open until 11:59 p.m. Aug. 21.
